Jon Richard Cleckheaton was opened in March 2000 by Richard Howard as a men's only salon.
An increasing clientele and ever expanding team meant the business had soon outgrown the original premises. Due to constant enquiries Richard also decided to introduce ladies hairdressing and found ideal premises for his new venture right across the road.
The building required complete renovation and after many months of work the completely redesigned new salon opened in November 2004.
Damian Cross joined the team in January 2005 after returning from running his own salon in the south of England.
In May 2008 Richard and Damian decided to embark on a joint venture and opened Jon Richard Saltaire, which they hope will enjoy the same level of success as Jon Richard Cleckheaton.
The Jon Richard team comtinues to go from strength to strength and is comtinually growing. The team have enjoyed many successes in both regional and national hairdressing competitions.
All junior staff are trained in-house by our experienced stylists, and all staff regularly attend training courses, in addition to in-salon training sessions, to ensure the highest standards of hairdressing are always achieved.
